Context

Paper scraps produced by the Graphic Design students were compiled into strips of papers that can be woven and combined to create different compositions. These scraps are representations of the flaws, the misprints, the undesirable ones, with many of them symbolise unfinished ideas or iterations that never made it to the final cut.

The installation encourages visitors to see paper scraps in a different light, and how one’s person’s trash can become another person’s treasure. This collaborative collage is a platform created by and for everyone, where each individual's scraps play a critical role in the final body of work.
